Meet the Collective

We’re for growth-focused marketing leaders who need to build a world-class brand at startup speed and a fair price. We co-create with you, share ownership of your outcomes, and leave the drama at the door.

After assessing each project’s goals and needs, we assemble a bespoke team of experts, all of whom have worked with us both in-house and as freelance consultants.

  • Ally was born and raised in Chicago on deep dish pizza and the Bulls. After graduating from Dartmouth College, a stint as a lawyer, and a stop in London to launch Upwork internationally, she’s led marketing, brand, and creative teams from the Bay Area for the past 10 years.

In the past 5 years, she has focused on building bold brand identities that challenge the status quo—in women’s reproductive health, sustainable consumer products, and real estate. She loves helping leaders mine the hidden data insights they need to make tough calls, and turning those insights into emotionally resonant branding that drives growth and inspires loyalty.

Outside of work, Ally is a mom to two rascal boys: Hayes (10) and Grady (8). She spends her free time with a tight-knit community of parents, technologists, and creatives floating down rivers, skiing down mountains, and wandering through National Parks. She enjoys styling homes and bodies, drinking good-ish wine and coffee, peddling the Enneagram, reading books on history, and hearting Zillow listings for dream renovation projects.

  • Ana grew up in Sydney, Australia and traded the beaches for the big smoke of NYC in 2009. She started her career in the market research industry, where she saw firsthand how the simple act of understanding people and their problems, quirks and unconscious drivers could unlock billions of dollars of value for the world’s biggest brands.

For the past decade, she’s been unclogging growth for startups and scale-ups on both sides of the CAC:LTV equation, by uncovering what humans really need, positioning brands to deliver, and working with sales, product, and CX teams to ensure every part of the business makes and keeps the right promises.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her in Colorado trying to keep her two boys, Milo (3) and Ziggy (10 months) out of the fridge and the power outlets, hiking up mountains on skis, and voraciously learning and writing about the intersection of customer insight, go-to-market, experience strategy, category design, behavioral economics and… AI (duh).

  • Kellie is a Salt Lake City native with 12+ years in marketing and consulting—building, launching, and advising products and brands. She’s worked at Deloitte, PwC, and WeWork, and holds a B.S. from the University of Utah and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Case, their daughter, Coco (1½), and their scruffy rescue pup, Olive. Weekends mean coffee walks, beach days, and farmers’ market hauls. She loves thoughtful podcasts, dancing, snowboarding, and a good workout class—and believes a funky jacket can make any outfit.

  • Katherine grew up in Baltimore and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She has 13+ years of experience working as a creative leader and art director for disruptive lifestyle brands and startups, including Oatly, Fur, Sol de Janiero, and Noom. Driven by craft, culture, and imagination, she builds world-class brands with integrity and humanity. While her background in fine art and graphic design guide her daily process, her expertise includes creative strategy, conceptual campaign development, photo and video production, and design leadership. Outside of work, she’s currently obsessed with playing tennis, oversized clothing, love, aging, and finding her next favorite film. Suggestions are welcome.
